  • A child sits lost in thought fingers poking the tomatoes on his plate What are the mysteries going through his head as he stares into the distant future? When I grow up. I won't have to eat things I don't want to eat like these tomatoes; And I can be anything I want to be. I want to drive a big steam train like, Thomas the tank engine, or maybe be a fireman. and drive in a big red fire engine like fireman Sam. Then again I might even be a builder, just like Bob the builder. The world is a child's oyster, yet to be discovered. this adorable work of art captures the innocence of a young child, as he sits in a pool of light, that reflects onto his face from the table mat and his dinner plate. having eaten all the food he liked, he is left with the bright red tomatoes, prodding them, and yet not really seeing them at all, lost in a dream world that belongs to this little boy.
